OurDream’s monthly plan costs $19.99 and its yearly plan $119.88, according to its own pricing FAQ on 25 October 2026. Candy AI, Nomi, CrushOn and SpicyChat all publish lower monthly prices, and Candy AI and Secrets AI are the closest match for images, video and voice. We compared eight apps on what their own pages published between 21 and 25 October 2026: price, free tier, refund rule and whether they train on your chats. All eight are for adults 18 and over.

Why OurDream users start looking
OurDream’s help centre explains most of the reasons. You need a subscription to generate images or videos, and you cannot buy extra dreamcoins without one. There is no standalone mobile app, only the website. Its privacy policy, last modified 26 August 2026, says it uses your data “to train our artificial intelligence/machine learning models”. The refund rule turns on how much of a purchase you have used:
Crypto payments cannot be refunded at all. OurDream also admits a moderation problem in its own help centre: “Our system is a bit too sensitive right now and may flag safe content”. There is no third-party review record to check, because Trustpilot shows “This profile has been removed” for ourdream.ai. What 1,000 dreamcoins cover each month
Both OurDream plans include unlimited chat and 1,000 dreamcoins a month. Chat costs subscribers nothing. Media and voice draw on the coins, at prices set out in the help centre:
At those prices, one month’s coins pay for 20 minutes of voice calls, about 200 standard images or 50 seconds of video. A single 60-second video costs 1,200 coins, more than a month’s allowance.
Video allowances come out close across the image-led apps. OurDream’s 1,000 coins buy ten 5-second clips. Secrets AI Premium’s 8,000 monthly moments buy about twelve at its Everyday rate of 640 moments per clip. Candy AI’s 100 monthly tokens buy about eight, if you use the 12 tokens per clip that the YouTube channel AI Girlfriend Decoded reported; Candy does not publish the rate itself.

We earn a commission if you subscribe through links marked with a dagger (†). The other apps pay us nothing, and they are listed because people compare them with OurDream. Each “best for” label names the one published fact where that app differs most from OurDream, and commission does not set the labels or the order.

Lower monthly prices than $19.99
Paying month to month, OurDream costs $239.88 over a year. Candy AI’s monthly plan is $13.99 after a $9.99 first month, and its yearly plan is $47.88, the lowest yearly figure in the table. Nomi charges $15.99 a month. SpicyChat starts at $5.95 a month and CrushOn at $5.99, though both are character-chat apps first, with fewer media features than OurDream. Secrets AI Premium matches OurDream’s $19.99 monthly price and comes in $9.89 cheaper on the yearly plan.
Before you switch on price alone, read what OurDream’s discounts actually are. It publishes no promo code, and its yearly plan halves the monthly price.
Closest match for images, video and voice
Candy AI † and Secrets AI are built the same way as OurDream: a subscription for chat, plus monthly credits that pay for pictures, clips and calls. Candy is the cheaper plan, with 100 tokens a month. Secrets is the more generous on calls: its wiki prices audio at 50 moments a minute, so Premium’s 8,000 moments cover about 160 minutes against OurDream’s 20. SweetDream also sells photos, video and voice from a token allowance. Its refund rule is the widest here: “If you’ve used 10% or less of the tokens a payment includes, we refund that payment in full”. It bills weekly, which suits a short trial more than a long stay. Apps whose policies say less about training on chats
OurDream, Candy AI, Secrets AI and CrushOn all say they may train on your chats. Three apps take a narrower line. Kindroid’s legal page has no training clause, though its terms let it use de-identified chats “for any purpose”. Replika’s 28 October 2026 policy says chat data trains its own safety systems and chatbot, and is “not used to train third-party large language models or other AI systems”. Nomi keeps a training archive that it says cannot be linked back to you after you delete your account.
SpicyChat’s privacy policy says nothing on training, but its terms say SpicyChat “will use, sell, license the content generated through chats”. Read that line before you move a private roleplay there. Our AI girlfriend app privacy guide compares the policies in more depth.
Stay with OurDream if you chat more than you generate
Chat costs OurDream subscribers nothing, and the coins only pay for media and calls. If you mostly text and make the odd image, the 1,000 monthly coins cover about 200 standard images, and its video allowance is close to Candy’s and Secrets’ anyway. The yearly plan at $119.88 also halves the monthly price.
Leave OurDream without losing your images or coins
- Download your media first. OurDream’s help centre says that once you unsubscribe, “all images and videos generated would be blurred” until you subscribe again.
- Use your coins before the period ends. Coins “Remain in your account until billing period ends”. If you come back later, a new subscription starts and “Any previous unused coins are not restored.” A separate help article says “Coins do not expire!”. The two pages disagree, so plan on losing them.
- Cancel at ourdream.ai/profile with the “Cancel subscription” button. Access runs to the end of the period you paid for, and there are “No automatic refunds for cancellation.”
- Delete the account if you want your data gone. At ourdream.ai/profile, scroll to the “danger zone” and click delete my account. OurDream says this takes 24 to 48 hours and removes “All generations, unpublished characters, and chat history”. Its privacy policy reserves the right to keep a popular public character active even after you delete your account.
Before you subscribe anywhere else, open the new app’s pricing and refund pages on the same day and check them against the row above, because these prices change often.
What changed on 31 October 2026
We re-read every source. Kindroid’s refund wording changed to “generally” no refunds and its preview dropped to 15 messages in some regions. Nomi’s page now states only an image allowance for free accounts, Kindroid’s 30 October legal page lets it use de-identified chats “for any purpose”, and Replika’s 28 October terms and privacy policy replaced the wording we quoted. We added a best-for label per app, OurDream’s coin and deletion rules for leaving, a reason to stay, and two questions.
Later on 31 October 2026, Kindroid’s US App Store listing began showing prices, so its row now gives them instead of “shown at checkout only”.
