Swipey AI (swipey.ai) is an adult AI companion app run by INVAI LTD, a company registered in Nicosia, Cyprus. Its pricing page lists Premium at $7.99 a month, with 3-month and 12-month plans as well, and a limited free tier that needs no card. Its terms say “All purchases are final and non-refundable”. Its current privacy policy deletes or de-identifies chats within 30 days of closing your account.
This is a research overview. We read Swipey’s pricing page, terms of service and privacy policy on 21 October 2026, re-checked them and its help centre on 31 October 2026, and quote them with dates. We have not paid for Swipey, so there is no score. How we test explains what a paid test would add. Swipey is for adults 18 and over.
How long Swipey keeps your data
Swipey’s current privacy policy sets three clocks after you close your account. Chats are “deleted or de-identified within 30 days of account closure”. Account data is “deleted or anonymised within 90 days of closure”. Payment and billing records stay for 6 years.
That is a big change from the policy we first read on 21 October 2026, which kept personal information for 6 years after the account closed, in the same wording GirlfriendGPT and GoLove still use. Among the apps we track, Swipey’s 30 days for chats now sits close to Nomi, which deletes personal information about 28 days after you delete your account. Candy AI keeps account data for up to 3 years after your last activity.
The policy says “We do not sell your personal data.” It does not mention training AI models on chats, and we found no clause about passing data to a buyer if the company is sold. Its cookie section still allows advertising cookies that may “build a profile of your interests”. For UK users, it says age checks run through Ondato, which uses facial biometrics. Swipey’s help centre adds that data is “encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest”, without claiming end-to-end encryption. Our privacy comparison of eight apps shows how these clauses compare.
Is Swipey AI free? Price and the free tier
Swipey AI is free to start, with limits. The free tier needs no card, and Swipey calls free chat “intentionally limited”. It states no token allowance for free users. The 200 monthly tokens for images, video, voice notes and voice calls come with Premium.
Swipey sells Premium on three terms. Its FAQ names “three Premium plans: 1-month, 3-month and 12-month”. The pricing page shows $7.99 a month and no longer shows a yearly price, so check the checkout for the longer terms. The 12-month plan gives 300 Hearts with the first payment and 200 with each yearly renewal, and the terms give paid users “200 Tokens per month” for images, video, voice notes and voice calls.

Premium also includes one “Fanclub” subscription. Swipey describes these as “AI versions of real, verified creators”, and its terms say each is modelled “with the authorisation of a consenting adult contributor”.
Billing, cancelling and refunds
Swipey’s pricing page summarised billing in four lines when we first read it:
To cancel, go to Account Settings, then Subscription, or email hello@swipey.ai. Premium runs to the end of the period you paid for. Plans renew “at the then-current price”.
Swipey’s documents disagree on refunds. The terms, effective 1 August 2026, say “All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by mandatory applicable law.” Its help centre says refunds are handled by the support team on a case-by-case basis. EU and UK buyers lose their 14-day withdrawal right “once performance has begun with your consent”.
Before you dispute a charge, the terms ask you to email hello@swipey.ai first. They warn that “Initiating a chargeback for a legitimate charge may result in suspension of your account.” Swipey accepts Visa, Mastercard and crypto.
To delete your account, Swipey’s help centre gives your profile, then Settings, then the Profile tab, then Delete Profile, and says deletion is “permanent and can’t be undone”. Cancel Premium first, or email hello@swipey.ai.
Who runs Swipey and who reads your chats
The terms name INVAI LTD, registration number HE 458964, at Strovolou 140 in Nicosia. Disputes go to the courts of the Republic of Cyprus under Cypriot law.
Staff can read flagged chats. The terms say interactions “including text, voice notes and voice calls” may be analysed by automated tools, and anything flagged “may be reviewed by trained compliance staff”. A Swipey help article says your chats “stay between you and her”, which does not match the terms.
On Trustpilot, swipey.ai had a TrustScore of 3.0 from 37 reviews on 31 October 2026, on a profile Swipey claimed. The recent complaints are about charges:
- “charge you without the possibility to cancel” (8 October 2026)
- “i never agreed for this pament of 39.99 eur” (2 October 2026)
- “has attempted to again charge me again” (16 August 2026)
Swipey publishes no plan at 39.99, so we cannot say what that charge was.
Is Swipey AI safe and legit?
On paper, Swipey is a legitimate business. A registered Cyprus company (INVAI LTD, HE 458964) runs it, its monthly price is public, and its terms and privacy policy name who you deal with. It has a claimed Trustpilot profile.
Whether it is safe depends on what you need to protect. Four rules matter more than the price:
- Chats are deleted within 30 days of closing the account, but billing records stay for 6 years.
- Automated tools scan chats, voice notes and calls, and trained staff can read anything flagged.
- The terms refund nothing unless the law requires it, while the help centre promises case-by-case reviews.
- A chargeback on a legitimate charge can get the account suspended.
We have not used Swipey, so this covers its published rules, not how the app behaves.
If Swipey is not the right fit
Swipey fits if you want a low monthly price and fast chat deletion after you leave. It fits less if you want a published refund right or a yearly price you can see before checkout.

What changed on 31 October 2026
Swipey’s privacy policy has changed since our first read. It now deletes chats within 30 days and account data within 90 days of closing the account, keeping only billing records for 6 years, so we removed our 6-year retention screenshot and chart. The pricing page no longer shows the $71.99 yearly price, and the help centre now names the bank statement descriptor, lists three plan lengths and describes case-by-case refunds that the terms do not.
