Short answer: OurDream AI is worth paying for if you mainly want text chat, and poor value if you came for video. On 20 October 2026 its homepage listed $19.99 a month, or $9.99 a month billed $119.88 upfront for a year. OurDream’s help centre prices voice calls at 50 coins a minute and video at 100 coins per 5 seconds, so the 1,000 coins in each plan buy about 20 minutes of voice or 50 seconds of video.
This is a research-based review. I read OurDream’s pricing FAQ, terms, refund policy, privacy policy, help centre and safety centre on 20 October 2026. I also watched six YouTube walkthroughs published between March and October 2026. Nobody on our side has bought or used OurDream, so nothing here comes from a hands-on test. How we test apps explains what a scored review will need.
OurDream is for adults only. Its homepage asks visitors to confirm they are 18+.
What you pay, and what 1,000 coins buys
OurDream’s homepage FAQ lists one paid plan at two prices, as published on 20 October 2026:
- Monthly: $19.99 a month, with 1,000 dreamcoins on sign-up and 1,000 more each month.
- Yearly: $9.99 a month, billed as one payment of $119.88. The help centre says you start with 2,000 coins (1,000 of them a bonus), then get 1,000 every month.
Both plans include unlimited messages and access to image and video generation. Chat is free for subscribers. Everything that makes media or sound draws on the coin balance.
The help centre’s “What costs coins?” article (edited 2 March 2026) gives the rates. I converted each one into what a single month’s 1,000 coins pays for. Each row is an alternative that spends the whole 1,000 coins.
| Feature | Help-centre price | What 1,000 coins buys |
|---|---|---|
| Standard chat (subscriber) | 0 coins | Unlimited messages |
| Genius or Lively Genius model replies | 1 coin per reply | 1,000 replies |
| Voice calls | 50 coins per minute | 20 minutes |
| Standard video | 100 coins per 5 seconds | 50 seconds (ten 5-second clips) |
| Ultra Quality video | 200 coins per video | 5 videos |
| Adding audio to a video | 20 coins per second | 50 seconds of audio |
| Standard images | 10 coins per 2 images | 200 images |
| In-chat scene image | 5 coins per image | 200 images |
| Narration with premium voices | 5 coins per paragraph | 200 paragraphs |

The same help article caps a standard video at 60 seconds and prices that at 1,200 coins. One full-length video costs more than a month’s allowance. The homepage FAQ still says the 1,000 coins cover “all your needs including videos”. On OurDream’s own rate card that claim is misleading for anyone who wants video.
OurDream’s logged-in upgrade page agrees with the arithmetic. In AI Knowzone’s 8 October walkthrough, the Premium card lists “20 minutes of voice calls” and “10 videos”. Those are two ways to spend the same 1,000 coins. You do not get both.
Extra coins. You can buy more coins, but only with an active subscription. AI Knowzone’s video shows an add-on slider with stops at 1,000, 5,000 and 20,000 coins. The slider sat at 0 in the video, and no public page I read shows pack prices. Heavy voice or video users should expect to pay more than the plan price, by an amount OurDream does not publish.
A second tier. The same AI Knowzone video shows a Deluxe plan at $59.99 a month, or $29.99 a month billed $359.88 a year, with 5,000 bonus coins. The homepage FAQ does not mention it, and I could not confirm it on any public OurDream page. Treat Deluxe as reported by one video.

Who runs OurDream
The Terms of Service (last modified 26 August 2026) make your agreement with Dream Studio USA, Inc., a Delaware corporation. The homepage footer gives an address in Dover, Delaware. The Refund Policy also names Dream Studio LLC and Tektopia Ltd. The terms cover both ourdream.ai and ourdream.io, and an account on either domain is the same account.
OurDream runs in the browser. The help centre says there is no standalone mobile app yet, and OurDream does not take PayPal.
Watch for lookalikes. Trustpilot carries profiles for ourdream-ai.uk, our-dream-ai.me and ourdream-ai.us. Those are different domains, and I found nothing that ties them to Dream Studio.
What six walkthrough videos and Trustpilot show
I watched six YouTube videos about OurDream, published between 26 March and 20 October 2026. Two show the logged-in product: Best AI Reviews (20 September) and AI Knowzone’s pricing video (8 October). AI Knowzone’s 10 October video scrolls through OurDream’s safety centre. The other three narrate over stock footage or illustrations. AI Girlfriend Decoded (13 September) uses AI-generated stock footage, AI Girlfriends (26 March) uses pencil-sketch drawings, and Review 3.0 (20 October) says in its description that it is an overview of public information, not an account walkthrough.
All six send viewers to a link or a discount. Only Review 3.0 prints an affiliate disclosure. Best AI Reviews says it is “presented by Heaven Girlfriend”. AI Knowzone points to a link in a first comment, which I could not confirm as a referral link. Read every verdict below as coming from someone who may earn on the sale.
Chat and roleplay. Best AI Reviews shows long roleplay replies with narration in italics, plus suggested-reply buttons under the message box. The presenter rates chat “10 out of 10”. This is the strongest on-screen evidence in the set, and it is about text.
Voice. In the Best AI Reviews video, a play button turns a reply into audio, and the presenter calls the voice book-like narration that could sound more realistic. AI Girlfriends says audio is “noticeably weaker”, with 19 voice options and many of them flat. Neither video tests a voice call.
Video generation. No creator calls it strong. Best AI Reviews says video is “the only feature that isn’t perfect”. AI Girlfriends calls the generator experimental and says characters drift between clips, so rerolls cost more coins.
Memory. AI Girlfriends claims OurDream summarises key events and lets you pin facts. No OurDream page I read describes memory pinning. AI Girlfriend Decoded says OurDream publishes no measurable recall guarantee, and Review 3.0 says its video does not establish memory quality.
Coin claims that do not match OurDream’s pages. AI Girlfriends says 1,000 coins let most users make media “without ever hitting a paywall”, and it promises a free trial and 1,000 free coins through its link. OurDream’s help centre says “we don’t currently offer free dreamcoins”, and its rates put 1,000 coins at 20 minutes of voice. AI Girlfriend Decoded quotes the same rates as the help centre. Discount claims vary too. AI Girlfriend Decoded says “up to 50%” aloud and “up to 70%” in its description. OurDream’s own annual toggle reads “Save 50% + free coins”, which is the yearly plan against the monthly one.
Trustpilot (third-party). On 20 October 2026, Trustpilot’s ourdream.ai page said “This profile has been removed” because the business “goes against our guidelines”. Trustpilot gives no further reason. The last archived copy, captured on 11 March 2026, showed a TrustScore of 4.2 from 98 reviews. The 20 newest reviews in that copy, dated December 2025 to March 2026, include several that praise chat. The complaints are about images and video looking weaker than the ads, and about coins and the paywall costing more than expected.
Cancelling and refunds: what you lose
Cancelling takes a few clicks. Refunds are narrow, and either one leaves your saved images and videos blurred.
To cancel, go to ourdream.ai/profile, click “Cancel subscription” and confirm. Access runs to the end of the billing period. The help centre says there are “No automatic refunds for cancellation.”
Your images and videos get blurred. The help centre says that after you unsubscribe “all images and videos generated would be blurred” until you subscribe again. Download anything you want to keep before you cancel.
The refund rules, from the help centre article “How do I request a refund?” (edited 13 February 2026):
- No refund once more than 25% of a purchase has been used.
- Monthly plans cannot be refunded once the coins are used up. Annual plans “may be eligible for full or partial refund”.
- After a refund, your images and videos are blurred until you re-subscribe, and any unused coins are removed.
- Card refunds take 5 to 10 business days. Crypto payments cannot be refunded.

The Refund Policy (last modified 9 March 2026) adds four points:
- You can raise a quality problem “within 14 days from the date of purchase”, and the fix is at OurDream’s discretion.
- Unused parts of a billing period are “generally non-refundable”.
- Buyers in the EEA, UK and Switzerland get a 14-day withdrawal right, but can lose it once the service has been fully provided.
- A chargeback filed without contacting OurDream first may get your account suspended.
Unused coins are unclear. The cancel article says unused coins stay until the billing period ends and are “not restored” if you reactivate. The expiry article says “Coins do not expire!” OurDream’s help centre contradicts itself, so plan to spend your coins before you cancel.
Auto-renewal is not stated in plain words on any page I read. The Refund Policy implies it: you “will not be charged for any subsequent billing periods after cancellation”.
Deleting your account is permanent. It removes your generations, chat history and unused coins with no refund, and it cancels an active subscription. The help centre says deletion takes 24 to 48 hours.
What happens to your chats
OurDream says it does not sell your chats. Its policies still let it train models on them and pass your messages to outside AI providers.
- Training: the Privacy Policy (last modified 26 August 2026) lists use of your data “to train our artificial intelligence/machine learning models”. I found no opt-out in the text.
- Outside AI providers: the safety centre’s privacy summary says “The message you send is processed by the model provider”. It also says some image models run on third-party providers.
- Staff access: staff read private chats “Only with your explicit support consent, or when responding to a lawful legal request.” Character creators see aggregate stats only.
- No sale, some sharing: the safety centre says “We do not sell your chats.” The Privacy Policy allows de-identified data to be used “for any purpose”. Its California section says the service may share online identifiers, such as cookie data and IP addresses, with advertising partners.
- Retention: no fixed periods. Data is kept “for the time necessary”. Popular public characters can stay up after you delete your account.
- Public characters: images you generate with a public character go into that character’s public pack, with the record of who made them removed.
- Security: the policy claims AES encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, and databases on a SOC 2 Type 2-certified platform. I cannot verify that from the outside.
Age checks. The safety centre says OurDream confirms age at sign-up and uses Go.cam or AgeVerif where the law requires it, naming the United Kingdom and Australia. OurDream says it receives only a pass or fail result, and the ID and face images are not kept. Its rules say visual media “must not depict minors in any form or context”.
Arbitration. The Terms of Service contain an arbitration clause and a class-action waiver, under JAMS rules and Delaware law. You can opt out by written notice “within thirty (30) calendar days of first accepting these Terms”. If you want to keep the right to sue in court, send that notice in your first month. The terms also let Dream Studio suspend or end an account “for any reason”, including lack of use.
For how these rules compare with other apps, see our AI girlfriend app privacy comparison and how Candy AI handles training and refunds.
Who OurDream suits, and who should skip it
OurDream fits an adult who wants long text roleplay with many community characters and is happy with a little voice or image work each month. For that use, the $9.99 yearly price is the cheapest way in, and chat costs no coins.
Do not pay for this if:
- You want regular video. A month’s coins buy about 50 seconds of standard video, and pack prices are not public.
- You want daily voice calls. 1,000 coins cover 20 minutes, which is under a minute a day.
- You want to pay with crypto and keep a refund option. Crypto payments are final.
- You want your chats kept out of model training. The policy allows training and names no opt-out.
- You need a native phone app or PayPal. OurDream offers neither.
If one of those rules OurDream out, our Character.AI alternatives guide compares other apps’ prices and features.
What to do before you pay
- Pick the monthly plan first. AI Knowzone and AI Girlfriend Decoded both give the same advice, and no refund is possible once more than 25% of a purchase is used.
- Pay by card, not crypto, so the refund route stays open.
- Decide what your 1,000 coins are for, using the table above, before you make your first video.
- Send the arbitration opt-out within 30 days if you care about court rights.
- Download your images and videos before you cancel, because they get blurred afterwards.
If that still fits, see OurDream’s current plans and check the charge at checkout against the $19.99 and $119.88 published on 20 October 2026.
